This is my friend Ashley's tomato soup recipe. Delicious, creamy, and satisfying, nothing is better on a cold winter day!
- 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon pesto sauce
- 2 cups cream or 2 cups milk
- Combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, and pesto.
- Stir until hot.
- Stir in 1-2 cups cream or milk, depending on how thick and creamy you desire your soup.
Soooo easy and so good. I didn't have any pesto so I made it without it. I just added a little sea salt. I'll never use canned tomato soup again! This is easier and way better than canned. ;)
