Another of my grandmother's recipes -- very quick and very tasty. Good on game day.
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (15 ounce) can artichoke hearts in brine
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- melba toast
- Mash artichoke hearts.
- Mix with mayonnaise, chedder cheese and cayenne.
- Turn into a greased 8" pan.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
- Serve hot-- spread on melba toast.
