  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Cook artichokes according to package directions.
  3. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup liquid.
  4. Melt butter in saucepan.
  5. Stir in salt, pepper, onion salt, dry mustard and flour.
  6. Gradually stir in artichoke liquid and milk.
  7. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened; remove from heat.
  8. Stir hot sauce gradually into egg and half of cheese; blend well.
  9. Put artichokes in a layer in shallow baking dish; cover with sauce.
  10. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, crumbs, and paprika.
  11. Bake at 450 degrees for about 15 minutes.
