    original recipe was from a Jell-o recipe 1981. An elegant looking dessert of pastels. I really recommend having worked with gelatin before to make this.

    Directions:

      Dissolve the first three ingredients together.

      Add the cold water and 1/3 cup of the brandy. Blend in a cup of sour cream until smooth.

      Place bowl over larger bowl of ice and water stirring until thickened. Pour into large glass bowl and chill until set but not firm.

      Meanwhile [part 2].

      disslove the black cherry, sugar in the water.

      Add the cold water and 1/3 cup brandy. chill over the ice again until thickened.

      Measure 1 1/4 cups and spoon into bowl over lemon mix and chill until set but not firm. Blend the sour cream with the remaining black cherry gelatin and spoon carefully into bowl.

      chill until firm about 2 hours. Garnish with frosted grapes.
