One of the highlights of our travels to Scandinavia was discovering aquavit, a tasty spirit with a hint of caraway or dill. I was happy to find this cocktail recipe to extend the ways we enjoy this Northern spirit!

Oh my CaliforniaJan, but this is quite a tasty cocktail. It's rather strong so I don't recommend it to those who prefer lighter cocktails. But the cranberry juice adds a very nice touch against the Aquavit, and the lime juice provides a great citrus complement. It's one of those unique cocktails that could be refreshing in summertime or warming in wintertime...a year-round treasure! Made for ZWT #9 (Scandinavia).
