- 2 cups dried cranberries
- 1⁄2 cup chopped dried apricot
- 1⁄2 cup raisins
- 3⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon allspice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 5 1⁄2 cups water
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup cider vinegar
directions
- In a large bowl, combine the cranberries, apricots, raisins and spices. Mix well, then set aside.
- Combine the water and sugar in the saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to medium. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add the dried fruit mixture and vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce the heat. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes or until the fruit is tender.
- Let sauce cool and serve.
