From Flo Bjelke-Peterson's Classic Country Cooking book. I chop my almonds in the food processor to get the texture that works best for these. You can also use peanuts if you prefer.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 cup dried apricot, chopped
  • 12 cup orange juice
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup powdered milk
  • 34 cup almonds, chopped
  • 12 cup desiccated coconut

Directions

  1. Simmer apricots, juice, and honey for 10 minutes.
  2. Add milk powder and nuts to mixture. Stir and cool.
  3. Roll into balls and coat with coconut. Store in fridge.
