This was a nice rich finish to dinner tonight. I used Scharffen-Berger bittersweet squares for the chocolate, added a bit of extra sugar, and used 4 tbs of brandy. I also went with the cinnamon sprinkle for the topping (no sticks, though; too lazy to dig them out of the spice cabinet. Thanks for posting! Made for Culinary Quest 2 Switzerland

I made one serving of this delight last evening for myself. Made just as written using cherry brandy. It may be summer but we had a flash storm yesterday evening and this was simply wonderful with the howling wind and strong rain. Made for the Cherry Bombs team, Culinary Quest 2015. Keeper for sure!

What a wonderful cup of hot chocolate that I enjoyed with our breakfast of Swiss Pancakes. Everything about this delicious drink was so delectable, but I think the combination of cinnamon and brandy together was the highlight of this lovely hot drink. I enjoyed it very much, French Tart. Thank you for sharing it. Made for Culinary Quest 2015 (Swiss). It's something to save for very special occasions, or just because.

Made as written for the *Chocolate Challenge* of ZWT6, I have a *Why Not* dy every dy, but it is not this spec as it does not include the brandy or some of the extras. I made a half recipe for Siggi & I to share as a way to limit the indulgence that could easily become habit-forming & it was a real treat. I used cinnamon for the *dust decor* & even a cinnamon stick for myself since I do not waste them on Siggi. He usually gives me 1 of his *What the heck is this for* looks & tosses it aside. I had been resisting this recipe for too long. Thx for sharing it w/us. :-)

This was so good! I scaled it down to 1/2 for DH and I, but I wished later I'd made the whole recipe! It was terrific, rich and delicious. Made for ZWT 6 Chocolate Challenge :)

This cocoa has a rich nutty taste from the brandy, and was a nice bedtime treat. I would probably skip the cinnamon next time, even though I only used a little bit, it was more dominant then expected and I think I'd prefer the chocolate/brandy combo without it. I used Trader Joe's lb plus Dark Chocolate. Thanks French Tart for sharing, made for the Comfort Cafe Winter 2010

Yum! This is a rich and creamy delightful treat! The combination of the 70% chocolate and cinnamon was wonderful, and the brandy really put it over the top. Thanks for sharing!

YUM! It is 9 below here tonight with a -25 wind chill and this drink was just what the doctor ordered for sipping in front of the fireplace. We loved it! Thanks for posting.

The perfect thing to take along in a thermos while cutting down our xmas tree this year! Brought a separate container of whipped cream and they were a rich, decadent, total hit!
