This is a quick and easy treat that compliments pork nicely and looks very nice on the table. We enjoyed it at Easter. I substitued cinnamon applesauce (to save time), reduced the walnuts to 1/2 c. as my son doesn't prefer nuts, and it was a smash! Thanks for sharing!

I had skipped lunch and was starving, but didn't want to spoil my dinner. This combination satisfied my hunger without overfilling me. I used unsweetened applesauce and HoneyCrisp apples (which I didn't peel). Thanks for posting a simple and healthy snack.

The first time I made this salad, I followed this receipe as it is written. The next time, I used a jar of chunky applesauce with cincimmon. I only had to add raisins and chopped walnuts. Even easier to fix, and still tastes great. Thanks for the receipe!
