These came out great! Healthy, tasty and easy. I used my own apple puree which was pretty thick so I needed to use more milk, but other than that followed the recipe exactly. Thanks for posting.
Both of my kids (and I) love these pancakes. I make them the smaller size as recommended by the recipe. They are good with unsweetened apple sauce on top followed by real maple syrup.
Loved these healthy, tasty pancakes! These pancakes prove that healthy foods don't have to be tasteless. The spices were spot on and the texture was perfect. I used whole eggs instead of egg whites, mainly because I was too lazy to separate them. Also, I used about 1/4 cup batter for each pancake and I got 12 pancakes. I served these pancakes topped with sauteed cinnamon apples...yum!! Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe...it is definitely a keeper! **Made for Culinary Quest - Suitcase Gourmets**
ok mr picky said" take a picture of an empty plate because that will be what you have if you make these" he liked these so well , which its kinda hit or miss for him . he wanted more, good job paula made for russian leg of tour cakepops on parade
These are fantastic! We both loved them and we loved the texture that the oatmeal gives them. We made a full recipe and froze the pancakes we didn't eat so that we can pop them in the microwave for a quick breakfast in the future.
Great pancakes! I made half of a recipe and got 5 large pancakes. Loved the hearty grains in this, while the texture was not too dense or heavy. The apple flavor was subtle; I think the addition of some chopped fresh apple would be good too. Great healthy and filling breakfast - thanks for sharing the recipe!
WOW!! Really good! I topped these with a brownsugar banana sauce and they were so tasty! My mom suggested that next time we add some pecans for texture..YUM!
Wow! Great pancakes! I love the texture of these and followed the directions to a T. Wouldn't change a thing! Thank you!
Good pancake recipe. I think it needed just a tad less nutmeg and cloves for my taste, but it was definately something that will get used again in our household. I made a 1/2 batch and it was 5 pancakes (made with 1/4 c. measuring cup).
These are just fabulous! So thick, moist & healthy to boot!
