A very simple and fast mug cake that is better for you! The recipe is quite forgiving-- I usually eyeball the amounts instead of measuring them out.
- 3 tablespoons applesauce
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup (or sugar)
- 3 tablespoons flour (I use rice flour for gluten free cake)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- Mix all ingredients in a mug.
- Microwave on high for 2:22.
I hate to give any recipe a 1 star rating, but this recipe was followed and did not even bake. It smelled great but was still a sloppy mess! Sorry won't make this one again!
