    Ingredients:

    Directions:

      Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    2. 2
      Add eggs, beating well.
    3. 3
      Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves together.
    4. 4
      Add to butter mixture alternately with the applesauce.
    5. 5
      Toss the raisins with the 1 tablespoon flour.
    6. 6
      Stir raisins and pecans into batter.
    7. 7
      Pour into a well greased and floured loaf pan.
    8. 8
      Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour.

      Remove from pan and cool on a rack.
