      As Good As any loaf of bread I've ever made in fullness, texture, and flavor. I increased the cinnamon, nutmeg, and added a little allspice. I used closer to a cup of shredded apple, used one yeast pack, and added about 6 TBSP of flour gradually during the kneading cycle to get the right dough ball. It filled the ABM almost to the lid and turned out wonderful. Toast it with's delicious.

      This was a super moist bread, which makes great of use of all the fresh fall apples available now (which I used a Gala variety for the grated apple bits and thought it worked really well in this recipe). We really enjoyed this bread. Thanks 8elbows. Made for Fall '09 Pick-A-Chef.

      I made this using the dough cycle and then elected to bake in the oven. It really is a nice bread full of fall flavors. I toasted slices & served with a cinnamon honey butter. Yum! Thank you for sharing the recipe! Made for Fall '09 Pick A Chef.

      This is a great recipe. It's a really sweet bread that would serve as a dessert split cinnamon spiced applesauce in the bun (I made buns instead of a loaf) and drizzled with some maple syrup. It's simple to make as are all bread machine recipes. The only changes I made was to use Splenda for the sugar and to cut the apple into chunks so that the machine wouldn't turn it into applesauce too, lol. The aroma while baking is out of this world. It's a great Fall treat that is low in fat to help things along. :D
