Applesauce

"This sounded like a more interesting applesauce than Mott's or the other store bought applesauce and so easy too. Recipe source: The Steamer Cookbook."

 1. I loved this. However, my picky children informed me that they don't like applesauce chunky. Oh well, I have been enjoying it very much. Thanks for a very easy and yummy treat.

 2. Absolutely easy to make, this chunky apple sauce recipe will be used a lot at my house from now on! I usually keep 4-5 jars of the store-bought kind on hand & eat it plain, use it as a topping for cottage cheese or waffles, add it to any number of cranberry recipes, or just use it as a simple side for chicken or pork. Now, I can enjoy making my own! Many thanks ~ it's great!

I love cooking and trying different foods, but my favorite cookbooks are now Weight Watchers or low fat/low cal cookbooks as I tend to try and make low fat/low cal recipes. I lost over 90 pounds on Weight Watchers and have maintained for over a year now -- so my cooking/eating habits have changed drastically following my weight loss and to keep it off!
