      This recipe was simple and delicious! I love it when I see people using jarred applesauce and i think "Ha! I bet this applesauce is 10x better!" Thanks for making this recipe scrumptious and plain ol' simple!

      Love it. I made this with 4 lbs of apples from a neighbor's tree, believed to be macintosh. Cut white sugar to 1/4 cup. Had a bit of trouble finding the lemon peel at the end; next time I'll try tying them together. I like cinnamon so added 1/4 t at the conclusion. Served over crumbled graham cracker for a bit of crunchy texture. Thanks for submittal.

      So easy to make, and easy to adjust for smaller batches. This last time I made it, I threw in a handful of strawberries, which added a little punch, but it doesn't need anything changed.
