Applesauce

"I do like easy and good. Using organic apples, just core them. If not then peel the apples first. This is made to your order--the amount you want and the sweetness you like. Prep time depends on if you have to peel the apples or not--cooking time on just how soft you like them. If you prefer to microwave, the time is shortened by about 10 minutes. Use less water, comes out better."

Reviews

  1. This was excellent! I used a combination of apples and pears to make an apple-pear sauce.

  2. Very good! The red hots made it easy and yummy. I didn't add the sugar though. The apples were sweet enough, and I like my applesauce a bit tart.

  3. The recipe is great but i used more allspice and cloves for my taste. I guess you just put final product in the food processor to get the applesauce consistency, right? Well the family loved it and it is a hit in MD!
