Oh Miller - this is good - really good!! This tasted almost identical to the applebees one that I order - and pay an arm and a leg for - when I go to applebees. I had to use salted butter as I did not have unsalted - but it turned out fine. I did add the walnuts to the sauce as well - tasted great! Thanks for posting!!

This was so good. I made it for Christmas Eve dessert for my family and we all loved it. It is so rich and the sauce warm over the ice cream we served it with was wonderful. Thank you so much for the recipe. We will be making this again for sure.

i have had this many times at Applebee's. This tastes exactly like the restaurant version!! it is so awesome! chewy and tastey. i served this to dinner guests with vanilla ice cream on the side and it was enjoyed by all. i had to make 3 copies of the recipe to hand out!

Really great flavor and I love the chewiness, but mine became too dry and crumbly when they cooled. I used macadamia nuts instead of walnuts, and right out of the oven they were so delicious. Skipped the maple sauce. Will make again with a few changes.

This was pretty good. I can't say whether or not it is like Applebees as I have never had it but my boyfriend really liked it. It was easy to make and went very well with vanilla ice cream. I took it out after 25 minutes and it was not even close to being done - it was in the oven for a little over 35 minutes to completely cook all the way through. Thanks for posting.

I was told the Blondie's I made from this recipe were BETTER than the ones at Applebee's. I used chopped pecans in place of the walnuts and followed the rest of the recipe to a T. Topped it with some vanilla ice cream and it was a huge success!

These were good, but not good enough that I'd make them again. They do look very nice with the toppings. After serving most with ice cream, we tried eating the bars plain. They were fine but I'd prefer to use up my calories on something else. I'd recommend trying this recipe once.

I made this months ago and I guess I forgot to post a review until I came upon the recipe today. It was delicious. Very rich and just like the one at Applebees. Didn't last long.

Your sauce is missing the cream cheese!

I have never had this dish at Applebee's so I cannot vouch for its authenticity, but I do know it is delicious!

I love the blondie at applebees and this I was a little disappointed in. The brownie should be cake like, not fudgie brownie type, then the sauce was to dark to much maple syrup. It's a great recipe but I did not think it tasted like Applebees, there is another recipe out there that seems like it would be a closer, we will see!

This did not turn out at ALL for me - neither the blondie nor the sauce was even close to what Applebees serves. Not sure why it was so horrible, but I will not use it again - it turned out more like a cookie bar than a brownie/blondie and the sauce was all wrong.
