I have never had this dish at Applebee's, but I hope theirs is as good as this recipe! I made it for someone who orders this regularly at the restaurant and she raved over it, as did everyone else who tried it. As quick and easy as this was, I took one shortcut: I used pre-cooked Perdue Italian seasoned chicken that happened to be on sale. I normally make my own Alfredo sauce, but followed the recipe and bought a jar of Classico Four Cheese. I kept the tomato mixture separate, and added it to each serving. Great leftovers for lunch!
