I read the recipe and after cooking for Applebee's I would have to say that this is nowhere close. To start, anytime you start by boiling meat you loose flavor. (unless your making soup or sauce) At Applebees you score the bone side with a sharp knife, coat the meat with a hickery dry rub and throw it on the char broiler for about 10 minutes. You then steam the meat in a sealed pan in the oven at 350 for 1.5hrs. Careful they will fall apart at this time. coat with your favorite BBQ sause and start drooling.

These were good, but not like Applebees.... They were tender and very moist flavorful ribs!

These are very good ribs. My whole family said they were just great. They were quick and easy also. Thanks for such a wonderful recipe.

I cooked this one 4th of July because it was a washed out day. Hubby is not too crazy about bbq sauce. He really did like this recipe and so did my kids. Fixed it at least 5 times so far. MMMMMMMMMMMMGood.
