      I'm putting together this salad later today but just made the dressing. All I can say is WOW! So great! Tastes EXACTLY like the dressing they use on it at Applebee's.

      This is EXCELLENT! One of my favorite meals at Applebees and it passes my taste test! Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe. I followed the recipe exactly, except I substituted light mayo. The dressing was a bit thinner, but I liked the fact it coated the salad better.

      Absolutely IDENTICAL to Applebee's. Thanks, you've just saved me a ton of money, as that's the only thing I ever order when I go there. The chicken was perfect, the dressing was OUTSTANDING, the mixture of greens and "goodies" were right on. I made these into wraps fro my husband and I, and made extra chicken for the kids for chicken fingers. Everyone was happy and I have one portion left for lunch today! Hooray! I'll definately be making these again.

      Fabulous! I love this Applebees salad. I do it the easy way and buy a tub of mixed salad greens and also use pre-cooked chicken from the grocery store. I like rice noodles better than chow mein noodles because I think they have a better texture. They are usually sold right next to the chow mein noodles in the grocery.

      Oh my! I chose this for our supper last night since our A/C had decieded to stop for us!!!! Anyway I wanted a salad of some sort as its cooler to make and quick to put together. I took the cast iron skillet out to the grill to fry the chicken and it work like a charm. I assembled the salad and it tasted soooooo good. The only thing I didn't have was the romaine lettuce so I had to sub in iceberg, but the napa and red cabbage still gave it that nice crunch that comes from the romaine. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. We loved it.

      LOVED this! I made it with Grilled Chicken, and it was so quick. A wonderful dinner. I did triple the recipe so i could have this for lunch too.

      I made the dressing only and used one of those cooked rotisserie chickens. I added 2 onions and 2 carrots [finely choppped/shredded]. Delicious. Added some hot sauce too!

      The dressing is what makes Applebee's Oriental Chicken Salad so delicious. I've ordered this salad many, many times over the years, so believe me when I say that this dressing recipe is DEAD ON the same as Applebee's. I've been searching for this recipe for over 10 years, and I've tried several other recipes, only to be disappointed that they didn't taste like Applebee's. I'm thrilled that I finally found the perfect recipe!! Thank you so much! I just made a large batch (I quadrupled the recipe) to keep on hand. It won't last long! I'd give this recipe 10 stars if I could.

      When I order this at Applebees, I order grilled chicken so that's what I did with this recipe and it is a lot less work. I also use imitation honey in the dressing to make it more diabetic friendly for my family members with diabetes.

      If you don't want to hassle making the dressing try Henri's Tas- tee dressing on it instead.

      I came across this recipe about a year ago and am now asked to bring this salad to every barbeque or potluck we go to. I make it so often I could probably do it in my sleep! Thanks for posting this, it gives the term 'keeper' a whole new meaning!
