SALAD
- 946.36 ml coleslaw mix, purchased
- 59.14 ml sliced green onion
- 2 medium granny smith apples, cubed

DRESSING
- 44.37 ml sugar
- 1.23 ml salt
- 1.23 ml apple pie spice
- 44.37 ml cider vinegar
- 29.58 ml oil
directions
- In a large bowl, toss together all salad ingredients.
- In a small bowl, blend together the dressing ingredients. Pour this over the salad mix and toss until well coated with dressing. Keep refrigerated until time to serve.

I love this and make it over and over! I leave out the green onions, because I seldom have them. Any type apple will do, but I like the tart ones best. Blend the dressing in a small blender, and just throw in a touch of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Oh, and I also use splenda. Practically NO calories!

I am taking this to a BBQ later today. Very light and refreshing! I added a bit more oil & vinegar to extend the dressing. I also added sweetened dried cranberries for added color and zing. I omitted the apple pie spice because I didn't have any on hand. I did not substitute for it. Just lovely! Thanks a bunch for posting Lauralie. I will be adding a photo as well.
