Apple Streusel Cobbler

"This is a great dessert. Simple to make, but with a big taste."

ingredients

• 2 (1133.98 g) can apple pie filling
• 2 eggs
• 396.89 g can sweetened condensed milk
• 59.14 ml margarine or 59.14 ml butter, melted
• 2.46 ml ground cinnamon
• 1.23 ml ground nutmeg
• 118.29 ml firmly packed light brown sugar
• 118.29 ml unsifted flour
• 59.14 ml cold margarine or 59.14 ml butter
• 118.29 ml chopped walnuts
• 118.29 ml long cooking oatmeal

directions

1. Preheat oven to 375*.
2. Spread apple filling in buttered 9" square baking pan.
3. In a medium bowl, beat eggs.
4. Add sweetened condensed milk, melted margarine, cinnamon and nutmeg, mix well.
5. Pour over apple filling.
6. In medium bowl, combine sugar and flour, cut in cold margarine until crumbly.
7. Add nuts and oats.
8. Sprinkle over custard.
9. Bake 50- 55 minutes or until set.
10. Cool.
11. Serve warm with ice cream.
12. Refrigerate leftovers.

This is SO easy and SO good! The prep time is correct but it only took 45 minutes for it to set up for me, but that could just be my oven, just wanted to mention it, so you may want to start checking after 40 minutes. I really like that I can have the ingredients on hand for this, for last minute guest-type events. My family loved this, I served it with low-fat ice cream...we'll be doing this again! Thanks Blue...good recipe!
