I tinkered with one of my favorite coffee cake recipes, and came up with this apple cake! It's delicious, hot or cold, and smells so good while it's baking! Can be served with whipped cream, but it's moist enough to serve by itself.

It was very good, but it was a bit ordinary, next time perhaps a bit more cinnamon or nutmeg in the batter might be nice. It took about 15 minutes longer for mine to bake, but worth it. Smellls heavenly baking.

I just baked this cake and it was AWESOME. Super moist and tasty. I left the peels on and I thought it added a nice visual touch, and kept the apples together more.
