- 1 green apple
- 1 red apple
- 439 g fruit cocktail, drained, reserve syrup
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Slice and core apples. Cut into tidbits and soak in reserved fruit cocktail syrup and lemon juice.
- Add Fruit Cocktail and honey. Chill until ready to serve.
This is a very easy recipe to make and I always have everything on hand. My daughter had a bowl of it and asked why it tasted so sweet. The honey is an nice natural way to sweeten this recipe. The only thing I was not sure of was if I was to drain the syrup off before I added Step 2. But I left it in and just used a slotted spoon to serve. Thanks for sharing!
