Apple & Ricotta Pastry Squares

"A simple and delicous dish, I found this recipe off the masterchef australia website. I have tried this myself and it is scrumcious."

• Yields: 8 Squares
• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 250 g ricotta cheese
• 29.58 ml honey
• 4.92 ml mixed spice
• 2 sheet puff pastry, cut into 4 squares each
• 2 golden delicious apples, thinly sliced
• 59.14 ml apricot jam, warmed

directions

1. Combine Ricotta, honey and spice. Divide between each pastry square. Placing in the centre of each.
2. Top with thin slices of apple and brush with jam.
3. Bake at 190ºC for 10-12 minutes until golden.
