My husband and I made this up and it was very good. Try it you will like it. It is also dairy free.We add a scoop of protein powder(Dymatize nutrition protein powder) to our shakes. Ours is vaniila flavor.

Tasty, very creamy and I love the apple in it. I do not use protein powder. I used a peeled red delicious apple, homemade cold almond milk, no ice, just additional homemade almond milk and a bit of water, I dropped in some date molasses probably in less quantity than the 3 dates called for and it gave it a nice slightly sweeter flavour, plus the rest of the ingredients. Of course mine was not as thick since I did not use ice. I also used a regular blender. I may make this again if I have apples.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 apple
  • 14 cup whole almond
  • 12 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • 18 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 dates (optional)


  1. Cut up the apple. Mix all ingredients in a vtamix. Blend until smooth. Enjoy.
