This is a great recipe, although I have always used it right away I have never sealed it. So if anyone does, let me know how it is. The tapioca is a great thickener for this.
- Put prepared apples in saucepan with 3/4 of sugar.
- Combine well.
- Place over high heat and boil one minute.
- Add rest of sugar and taioca, return to full boil for one minute, stirring constantly.
- Put into jars and seal or cool, put between pie shells and bake at 350 degrees until crust is golden brown.
