I really don't remember the source of this recipe, but I've been making it for many years and it's always a hit. It's virtually dairy free, so it can be served with meat, or as dessert.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 ounces medium noodles or 12 ounces wide egg noodles
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 12 cup margarine, melted
  • 12 cup orange juice
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 cup golden raisin
  • 12 cup dark raisin
  • 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling (Comstock or other brand)
  • Topping

  • 12 cup corn flake crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, mixed with
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 lemon, juice of

Directions

  1. Cook and drain noodles.
  2. Add rest of ingredients.
  3. Top with lemon juice.
  4. Sprinkle on corn flake crumbs and cinnamon sugar mixture.
  5. Bake for 1 hour at 350.
  6. Cut into squares.
