  1. I made a recipe very similar to this tonight. The only differences were that I added 1 t. vanilla and I only used 8 oz. of mountain (it was too runny with 12 oz). It was SO good! My friends all loved it and wanted the recipe. Thanks for posting! Update tip: I like this better with one can of apple pie filling instead of real apples. Just put a couple teaspoons of the filling in the crescent rolls and roll them up (don't worry about excess oozing out). If you have leftover filling you can just mix it up with the butter/sugar mixture. Make sure to wait the full 15 minutes before eating. They set better that way. Serve with extra sauce on top of each roll.

  3. Great recipe ~ big hit everytime I have made. Try it with sliced canned peaches, also very good!!!

  4. Made this last night. Was a little uneasy about all that liquid but it did turn into a syrup. I will be cutting back on the sugar next time. I did leave off 1/4 cup of sugar and found I could have cut it down to only one cup. Other than that the recipe was very easy and yummy. Will be making again. thanks for sharing.

I live in Kentucky and have worked as Ministerial Assistant for our pastor at Southern Baptist Church I am a member of. My all time favorite cookbooks are Taste of Home. They have down-to-earth recipes and ingredients are easy to find in a local grocery. My passions are my family and my church. Also my miniature schnauzer. If I had a month off from work...I would clean house first, so as not to have that worry, then spend lots of time on the computer and reading.
