  • Break matzohs in pieces, soak in water and drain.
  • Combine eggs, salt, honey, oil, cinnamon and add to matzoh.
  • Mix in nuts, apples and raisins.
  • Place in 8- inch square baking dish and bake at 350°F degrees for 35 minutes.

  1. This recipe is fantastic. I made it for a dinner I was hosting and everyone loved it and couldn't stop eating it. This is the best matzoh kugel I have ever made, incredibly moist and delicious. I used a few more apple slices due to the fact that I omitted the nuts (because I'm allergic). I will definitely be making this at every special dinner from now on.
     
  2. this is the BEST matzoh kugel I have ever eaten. If you did not live so far away I would come and kiss you. My husband who is not Jewish and usually hates most of the food loved loved loved this kugel.
     
  3. Great recipe. Everyone loved it last year and I will make it again.
     
  4. I needed a recipe with a few items and this was it. It was a great success. I thought I was going to have leftovers. How sadly I was mistakened . Everyone just loved it. It is a very easy recipe to make. I will definitely use this recipe again for Pesach. The only change was I used slivered almonds instead of walnuts.
     
  5. This was a big hit at Passover. The honey gave it a special taste, not too sweet. Only change I made was to leave the raisins out. We are not big on raisins. I doubled the recipe with hopes of having leftovers for Easter supper the next day, no such luck. I will be making this again and again.
