Apple Juice Jelly

  • 946.36 ml apple juice
  • 1301.24 ml sugar
  • 49.61 g packet Certo (3/8 cup)

directions

  • Bring juice, pectin and food coloring (if using) to a boil.
  • Add sugar.
  • Boil 2 minutes, stirring all the while.
  • Skim off any foam.
  • Pour into prepared jars.
  • Sit upside down till cooled.

  1. I couldn't find 1 3/4 oz. Certo. So I used powdered pectin that came 1 3/4 oz. packet. The jelly was very easy to make. Looks pretty in the jar and tastes ok. I got 6 half pint jars of jelly from this recipe.
