Make and share this Apple Honey Vinaigrette recipe from Food.com.
- 2 cups oil
- 2⁄3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1⁄3 cup apple juice
- 3 tablespoons liquid honey
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- Whirl all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into sterile jars of decorative bottles with snug fitting lids. Store in the fridge for 1 month.
- Shake well before using!
This was really tasty, and I agree with Thorsten that the sweetness of the apple goes so well with the mustard and vinegar! We had this on spinach salad with strips of carrot. Thanks for the very tasty dressing. :)
Like this vinaigrette for the fruity notes of apple in it. The honey balanced well the tart notes of the vinegar. And the Dijon mustard adds a wonderful sharpness. I have had the vinaigrette with arugula (rocket) and it makes a great combination. In my opinion this vinaigrette is fantastic for salads like rocket or chicory. Thanks for sharing.
