  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Slice each apple into 8 slices.
  • Roll each apple slice in a crescent roll.
  • Place seam down in a buttered 9x13 pan.
  • Melt butter and stir in sugar, just barely.
  • Add vanilla, pour over dumplings.
  • Pour Mountain Dew around edges of the pan.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
  • Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream. Spoon sweet sauce over the top. Enjoy!

  1. I have made this two or three times and didn't realize I never rated it. This is really good. It tastes a little like apple cobbler. It has the added benefit of caffeine. I have it printed and will make it many more times. Thanks for the recipe.

  3. Outrageous!!! I've made these twice and taken them to pot-lucks. Both times I've been asked for the recipe! I'm a little embarrassed to say how easy they are. Amazing!!! Simple!! Great to make with kids!!!
     
  4. If you hadn't made a typo (4 minutes of baking time) I wouldn't have wasted all of these ingredients! I thought this sounded good se went to the store and bought everything, did as you said, baking them for as long as 20 minutes but then the apples were mushy and it was still all doughy. I don't think these are even worth the bother. Might as well make the REAL thing that tastes OH SO MUCH better.
