My recipe is very similar to yours and it's everyone's favourite here (at home and on campus!). In my version, I use a 12" x 8" dish, add cinnamon with just 1 tbsp of sugar to the sliced apples (6-7 apples) and sprinkle some grated nutmeg alongwith cinnamon on top of the crumble mixture. I serve it hot - DH loves it with custard but I like mine with vanilla ice cream (I am not a big fan of custard). I sometimes make it with peaches and pears. Just wanted to let you know it's a big hit here as well!

Well I know you don't need more compliments, but I gotta write this! THANK YOU for a recipe that is so easy to make gluten-free and that tastes so good. I made it tonight when my daughter had a friend over for the night, and they both gobbled it up even though it's only my kids that can't have gluten. I think between my mum, son, daughter, her friend and myself, it's all gone (shameful but true!) Can't wait until the next farmer's market to get some more apples!
