1. I used 2 cortland apples and 1 delicious apple. Instead of almonds, I used chopped pecans. This was great with the apples. I used 1 tsp of cinnamon cause I like cinnamon. You said oats so I used old-fashioned oats. But maybe I should have used quick oats cause even with 40 minutes of cooking, it's still crunchy. With the apple juice and honey, it's perfect for the sweetness. I may try another time with apple juice and maple syrup. This was very easy to do. Thanks Oak Knoll Mom :) Made for PAC Spring 2010 http://www.recipezaar.com/bb/viewtopic.zsp?t=327498&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

I love to cook, and I cook a lot since I have three growing boys and a hubby with a super-metablolism. We try to eat healthy, but I do love to splurge on goodies on occasion!
