Mom's good old fall back apple crisp.
- 1 cup flour
- 1⁄2 cup butter or 1⁄2 cup margarine
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 dash nutmeg (1-2 shakes)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Slice apples into a square baking dish.
- Add water to apples.
- In a small bowl mix flour, sugar, butter and spices.
- Blend until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apples.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
