    Directions:

      Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. 2
      slice the apples in an 8x8 pan, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
    3. 3
      combine the rest of the ingredients and mix until crumbly.
    4. 4
      sprinkle over apples.
    5. 5
      bake at 35-40 minutes.
    6. 6
      good served with milk or ice cream.

      I've made a lot of different types of Apple Crisp, and this rates right up there with most. It's easy to make and takes wonderful. I needed more like 45 minutes of baking time more the apples to be cooked enough and soft (but that could easily be attributed to the variety of apples I used), but otherwise had no trouble with the recipe as written. Thank you for sharing your recipe, Rodeocowgirl. Made for the Spring 2014 Pick-A-Chef event.
