This makes a nice change from the usual apple crisp. Serve with or without your choice of topping - ice cream, yoghurt, whipped cream (fat-free?)

  1. Peel, core& slice apples.
  2. Combine cranberry sauce, apple juice& cornstach in a pot; heat until it bubbles.
  3. Add apple slices& toss to coat.
  4. Pour into medium size baking dish or deep pie pan.
  5. Combine oats, brown sugar, flour& cinnamon.
  6. Cut in margarine& sprinkle in water, mixing until a crumbly dough forms.
  7. Sprinkle mixture over apples.
  8. Bake in a preheated 375F oven for 25- 30 minutes or until top is light golden& apples are tender.
