Apple Cinnamon Pork Chops

"This is something my boyfriend and I came up with one day for supper. It was a MAJOR hit and there were no leftovers whatsoever. We make it in a crockpot, but I'm sure you could bake it too."

directions

  • Mix together 1/2 cup brown sugar, Smokehouse Maple Seasoning, salt, pepper and cinnamon in a bowl. Make enough to make a rub. With a fork, poke each side of the pork chops to tenderize and allow the rub to get into the meat. Rub both sides of the meat and sit aside.
  • Peel and core your apples into thin wedges. Sit aside.
  • In a crock pot, pour the apple juice and the remaining brown sugar. Stir till dissolved. Put some of the apples into the crock pot and then place your meat over them. Put the remainder of the apples onto the meat. Sprinkle the top with more cinnamon and Mccormicks seasoning. Cover and let cook for approximately 3 hours. The meal is done when the apples are tender.
