This apple bread had something most apple bread recipes do not have! Plenty of CINNAMON! I added one pack of instant oatmeal as called for, but due to sugar content, did not use the pack on top of the bread. I just used some plain oatmeal. Very good. Thanks for posting!

This was wonderful. I loved the flavor and it has healthy ingredients. I used multigrain oatmeal and next time I think I'll only use 1/2 a package for topping and put the other 1/2 in the bread. My crumbs kept falling off the top :( So good, will keep this recipe handy for using on a regular rotation

Mmmmm-Mmmmm. I love, love this recipe. The added bonus for me is the use of all LF ingredients. What a treat for this carboholic. I used for the oatmeal part - 1 packet of Instant Maple and Brownsugar. Also threw in a handful of chopped up Honeycrisp apple. I also love the addition of cinnamon and chunky applesauce. So so good. I slather on a heaping of Warp-Speed Pumpkin Butter and I'm all set!!! Thanks Anna for such a delightful applebread recipe~ Made for MarketTag~

Very impressed with this recipe! I like that the recipe called for healthy ingredients, substitutions I usually make on my own. I followed the recipe exactly, but did add a chopped apple because I could only find unsweetened applesauce (not chunky unsweetened). I also used the Quaker Oats Lower Sugar Apples & Cinnamon instant oatmeal, the Splenda makes the bread very sweet on its own. Bread was delicious when still warm from the oven. Thanks for a yummy and healthier recipe.

Really good bread! Didn't have Splenda, but when using regular sugar, did some brown sugar. My applesauce was the Mott's Peach flavored and it worked just fine. Didn't have instant oatmeal, so just used regular oats. For the topping I used the topping from Dutch Apple Bread (#93013) and that hit the spot! Mine baked up perfect in one hour even using an 8x4 inch pan. Thanks for a yummy apple recipe!

I had my reservations going into this recipe- I've tried to bake with Splenda before and it never turns out quite the way I like it... this recipe proved me wrong!! What beautiful presentation! The scent was aromatic and the muffins (I filled six large bakery-style muffin tins instead of one loaf pan) rose perfectly. Instead of using the extra oatmeal packet on top, I sprinkled with a little streusel topping. Also, I didn't have chunky oatmeal so I used regular- other than that, I followed the directions to a T. Thank you for the good post! :-)

Well, I was well out of my comfort zone with this one. I did loads of subsitutes and made a few mistakes along the way...but it still turn out really nice! I used 1/2 cup brown 1/2 cup white sugar, thought it would be too sweet with recipe amount, as my applesauce was sweetened with no chunks. I didn't have any flavoured instant oatmeal so I used 1 tsp of cinnamon with 3 ounces of plain instant oatmeal but then forgot to add only half of it, dumped it all in at stage 2 when I realised my mistake I sprinkled a bit extra on top, before putting it into a fan oven :-O (what a mess!!) After all that, the end result was wonderfull, smelt divine and was moist and had a soft texture. thank you annacia I will definately do this again but without the topping...I can't face cleaning the oven again! lol

I'm glad I tried this unique recipe. It is tastey and easy to make. I was a bit confused as to the amount of sugar to add, so I added 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup white sugar. Turned out very nice. Thanks!
