How could I possibly go wrong with all these scrumptious ingredients? This bread is delightfully flavorful with great texture. The only change I may add next time is a bit more brown sugar (to personal taste) and perphaps some bits of chopped apple. Great recipe, Barb! I'll be making this again!

Great bread! Very moist, even on the second day after baking. Nice that you can put it on a timer for overnight baking, too - the kitchen smells so good when you wake up! When I made it I didn't have applesauce on hand, so I substituted 1/2 cup apple butter and cut the brown sugar to one tablespoon. Turned out great. Thanks, Barb!

This bread was good but it needs something. I toasted it with cinnamon sugar and a little butter spray and it was good. It also would be good on a pb & j. However, just to grab a slice and eat it, it tasted just like whole wheat bread. Not much other flavor.

This is a substantial, flavorful bread. It will be fun to play with the flavors by changing the granola.

Okay, the finished product of this did taste quite good, but it was an absolute disaster in my bread machine. I have a large capacity bread machine and have rechecked the ingredients to make sure i put everything in exactly--which i did. This was a sloppy wet mess in there. I added about a 1/2 cup extra flour during the "kneading" thinking that might help, but when the "rising" started the whole mess overflowed the bowl and dripped down the sides--burning to a crisp and stinking up the whole house. Not over-rising mind you, but actually overflowing like lava. The actual "bread" was kinda hollow on top, but like i said before was actually quite tasty. I wont make this again simply because of the volcano that it became.

Alright Barb - you're luring me in with your recipes. This is amazing! I made this for my sister in college and had to make another because DH and I ate the frist loaf. I took it out of the ABM, brushed with egg white, braided it and baked it at 350 for 20 minutes. I also added raisins as they are my sisters favorite. This is a great loaf!!
