From Cappuccino Espresso the Book of Beverages by Christie and Thomas Katona. This sounds really good.
- 2 ounces apple syrup
- 1⁄2 ounce cinnamon syrup
- 2 ounces espresso
- milk, steamed and foamed
- cinnamon, for garnish
- In a 12-ounce cup, combine syrups and espresso.
- Fill cup with steamed milk, top with foamed milk and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Serve immediately.
Sorry it took me so long to make this from your win of the Football Pool Week #3. I had trouble finding apple syrup in my area but finally had it shipped to me. My local coffee shop made this drink for me since I don't own an espresso machine and now he wants to put it on his menu! Great cappuccino! Congrats on your win!!
Another terrific coffee break courtesy of Lazyme. I used apple juice and Splenda in place of syrup. Lazy that was 2 ounces of espresso *before* brewing...right? It's a winner for sure. :D
