This is so good, filling, and just taste like Fall. A perfect breakfast for a crisp Fall morning.
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 2⁄3 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
- 1 apple, cored peeled and diced
- Put cider, water, and apples in a sauce pan and bring to a boil on high heat. Add oats, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Bring back to a boil and then reduce heat to low. Cook for about 2 minutes or so. Add more oats and cook longer if it’s too thin. Add brown sugar and mix well if you want it sweeter.
