I had some apples to use up so made this..was lovely toasted with cream cheese..thanks for posting!
This was a tasty bread. I wasn't sure when to add the apple as my machine doesn't beep so I put it in on top of the other ingredients. I also added raisins. We tried eating it warm but it completely disintegrated when we tried to cut it so we had to wait until it had cooled down. Thanks for the recipe.
Wonderful bread! Just the right amount of sweetness. I did use brown sugar not white sugar. I added my diced honeycrisp apples at the bread machine's beep. This is when you really have to watch the dough. After the apples were kneading in, the doughball got much to wet. I added more flour, gradually one tbsp at a time, until the doughball was just right. I may have used 5 tbsp of flour or so. The end result was delicious and just the right texture.....with little pieces of soft apple here and there. The kids especially loved this bread (they are apple fanatics). This bread will be made often here. I may even add some finely ground nuts next time. Thanx for sharing!
This bread was sooo yummy! Warm with butter, it was perfect for breakfast. The apple was pretty much obileterated by my machine, so no chunks, so next time I am going to try to cut them bigger. My family loved it and it was a HIT!
First of all I loved this bread! However I did have some trouble. I made this in my bread machine. The dough was very wet, I should of added more flour. My bread was doughy, but we ate it anyway! Tasted wonderful! I will definetly try this recipe again adding more flour.
This bread has a wonderful texture and flavor. Added raisins and chopped pecans just cuz! Made it in my abm and it turned out fabulous....as soon as it was cool I sliced a piece and slathered it with butter...fab! The only problem I had was the added ingredients sank to the bottom of the loaf and discolored it...but it did not affect the flavor at all. Looking forward to making a breakfast toast out of this. Thanks for sharing.
