Cheryl - you are by far the most creative mom ever! My son loved it! At first he didn't want to ruin it - so he first ate the celery since he said it still looked like a butterfly without it - then the raisins, then a bite from each wing - it was hilarious! He finally just gave up saving the poor butterfly and gobbled it up! Thanks for a great treat!
What a fun and easy way to get the little missy to eat her fruits and veggies. (No bribing here!) So creative, fun and tasty! (I LOVE your other kiddy/luchbox ideas posted on your page!!!!! Your recipes are so great!) Thanks so much for sharing!
very cute great idea
Great recipe, saved me when I was babysitting a kid who hadn't eaten all day and was going crazy on me. She wouldn't eat anything I put in front of her (well, with the exception of marshmallows). And I remembered looking and this recipe and gave it a try, threw it together and she ate it all right up! Thank you!
Very cute and healthy after-school snack. The kids loved it! Thanks for sharing!
This is awesome. The kids loved it.
What an awesome afternoon snack this was! I made this for my 5 year old and her friend and they loved it! I spinkled icing sugar all over the plates and the girls said it was pollen! I did omit the peanut butter, as my daughter can't stand it and it worked out just fine. A real delight for the little ones! Thanks for a cute recipe!
This is a great way to eat an apple! I sprinkled cinnamon on it instead of sugar and it tasted great! Thanks for the recipe ncmysteryshopper!
The kids loved this. I used a gala apple and regular carrot cut down to size. I was out of raisins and celery so I left those out, but the kids didn't care. I brought them out and they both said "butterflies?? Cool!"
