I generally don't buy the self-rising flour, but it's worth keeping around for this recipe. Nice flavor and texture. I did reduce the fat by 1/4 C and it still was moist enough. Thanks for posting another great recipe.
This has excellent flavor. I also had trouble with it being too dry.
I liked it but flavor was milder than I expected.
This smelled wonderful and has potential, but it was too dry. I followed the directions exactly, except I omitted the pecans. I'm going to try sifting the flour next time and see if that helps. I will be trying this again soon and hopefully changing my rating to something higher.
EXCELLENT! Baked up like a dream and smelled WONDERFUL! I chopped up the pecans and the raisins before I added them. My family doesn't like big "chunks of stuff". Thanks for posting!
