Way too sweet and not nearly enough zing. Sorry will keep looking for a recipe more suited to our families taste.
Broiled a couple of chicken breast and had this on them. Nice flavor and easy to make, will have to try it again on something grilled, think the grilling may add to the flavor. Made for Football Pool 2012.
This was very unique and very delicious on grilled pork chops. I used homemade apple-butter, and made the sauce a day ahead without heating it (just blended and refrigerated). We brushed it on the chops as a mop sauce during cooking, and added more as a dipping sauce while eating. This is great stuff and definitely a keeper recipe. Thanks again loof, for another great recipe! :)
Very, very nice! I'd made some apple butter last week so used some of that in this recipe! Followed it closely & was most pleased with the resulting sauce! Had it on a couple of pork chops & served it (believe it or not) cut in half, along with 2 large chicken breasts (marinated in another recipe) so that the 4 of us at the table could have a bit of each! Thoroughly enjoyable! Thanks for sharing the recipe! [Made & reviewed as a THANK YOU for playing in Please Review My Recipe tag game during the recent tour]
Not as sweet and thick as bottled sauce, but this has a nice flavor. Served on grilled pork chops seasoned with Terrific 10 Rub and they paired well together. Made for 123Hits.
Very sweet, and not at all spicy. This is very easy to make, and adds a great taste to pork, which is what I used it on. Made for Photo Tag....thanks for posting!
