Found this online & made it while at work. I tested it out on my co-workers & they loved it. I followed the instructions listed below but I changed some of the ingredients below by using strawberry milk & I added a cup of low-fat yogurt (peach flavored)so so good!! My co-workers all said they would have paid me for the drink! lol
- 1 banana, peeled & chopped
- 1 apple, peeled & chopped
- 1⁄2 cup orange juice
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1 cup ice
- 1⁄4 cup flavored yogurt (optional)
- In a blender combine banana, apple, orange juice, milk & optional yogurt. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
Delicious fruit smoothie combination! Very refreshing! I made it without the ice as my blender doesn't blend even crushed ice very well. Made for Lets P-A-R-T-Y December Event!
Really good and filling! I've had some apples that I've been meaning to eat and just haven't been in the mood. I saw this recipe and knew it was the ticket. I didn't peal the apple, I wanted the nutrition and fiber from the peel and used half an orange instead of juice for the same reason. It turned out great! Thanks for posting this yummy recipe, I'll be making it again.
