An easy and reasonably heathly dessert to make while the main course is cooking in the oven. Serve as a dessert or cake.

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add grated apple, sugar and egg and beat by hand.
  3. Stir in sifted dry ingredients.
  4. Put in lined 20 cm square tin.
  5. Melt butter for topping, and add remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover batter with topping mix.
  7. Bake 180 C 45-50 minutes.
  8. Serve with cream or sauce.
  9. The remainder may be eaten as a cake.
