A very easy dessert for one or more. From Yorkshire chef Brian Turner

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 apple, cored and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 55 g goat cheese, diced
  • 110 g Greek yogurt
  • 30 g soft brown sugar

Directions

  1. Place the apple cubes and goats' cheese into a gratin dish.
  2. Cover with Greek yoghurt and then sprinkle with soft brown sugar.
  3. Carefully, using a blowtorch, glaze the top to caramelise the sugar. Or place it under a preheated broiler until the sugar caramelizes.

Delicious! A quick treat for when you need to spoil yourself. Made as written. Cut the apple into 1/2 inch pieces, next time will go for 1/4 inch pieces. As I do not have a blowtorch used the broiler method and as you can see in the photo started to burn the top. But all that said this reminds you of one of those really rich desserts you get in a fine restaurant. So Marra thank you for enabling me to spoil myself this evening.
